Via our Quality Assurance procedures we can guarantee that you will be treated by experienced surgeons and doctors using the most up-to-date surgical procedures in modern, state-of-the-art facilities, which we have thoroughly inspected and approved. We pay particular attention to the adequacy of cross-infection control procedures. See our Selection Criteria page for more details.
Our Polish clinicians work in conjunction with your UK/Irish doctor to resolve any post-treatment issues. In the unlikely event that you may need to return to Poland for remedial work, we will share the costs of travel and accommodation for the additional trip. Any necessary remedial work in Poland will be provided free of charge by our clinicians.
Subject to certain provisos (see below), our medical & surgical colleagues will endeavour to provide you with the best treatment results possible.
What does my guarantee cover?
In line with accepted UK/Irish medical practice, our clinicians’ guarantees will be reduced or invalidated under the following circumstances:
You fail to follow your clinician’s post surgery and/or post treatment instructions
You gain or lose a substantial amount of weight within a short period of time after treatment.
You have a general illness such as diabetes, epilepsy or osteoporosis; or you undergo treatment such as chemotherapy, which will jeopardise your clinical condition.
You suffer an injury by accident, sport or any third party.
If something goes wrong...
Just like any where else in the world, very occasionally something can go wrong. You may develop complications on return to the UK/Ireland. Infection may occur despite the best efforts of you and your clinical team.
Should this happen, we strongly encourage you to contact Appearance Matters immediately, so that we may contact your Polish clinician and seek advice on the best remedy. Problems can usually be rectified by your own doctor.
The guarantees given by our hospitals and clinics are in line with, and often exceed, international standards.
